CIE-UK: PhD research symposium

University of Sheffield
6-8 September 2022

Organised in conjunction with LightCap European Training Network and CIE-UK

The CIE-UK: PhD Research Symposium on Thursday 8th September 2022 will showcase research from PhD students of lighting.

For the audience, it is an opportunity to see the emerging topics in current research. There may be issues which will affect future design practice. You will have the opportunity to ask questions which will help the students to understand how their work fits within other needs of lighting design.

For the students, this is an opportunity to present to a wider audience than is typical of research conferences. The CIE-UK: PhD Research Symposium is being promoted amongst the lighting profession in the UK, the people who will apply the findings of your research.

If you would like to attend this Symposium as a member of the audience please use this Google Form to register. If you are a PhD student who would like to present at the symposium please contact Dr Jim Uttley at j.uttley@sheffield.ac.uk.

The symposium is sponsored by CIE-UK: there is no fee to attend, either as a speaker or member of the audience. Spaces are limited and will be available on a first-come basis.
